Round Up

October 31, 2006

Yet again I have missed another day of posting, when I first began this I aimed to post everyday, after a virus last week and being very busy today and yesterday its proving difficult, obviously I will try my best to put a post up daily, and I think I’ll manage that for the rest of the week.

Okay, on with Mondays and Tuesdays news -

First off, I’ll start with Johan Djourou who has revealed he signed a 6-year deal in the summer, which is very good news, perhaps not as quite as big as the Cesc or Toure contracts (Big as in News, not length or money) but it does show that Arsene shows alot of faith in Johan who only started appearing last season if we were really in trouble with injuries, and he has enjoyed an excellent run in the first team so far this season, and I think he has great potential. At only 19 he has so much experience already and can earn tonnes more in the next 6 years.

Johan was very happy obviously and had this to say -

“It shows the boss and the Club see the future with me, which is a great thing. I’m very happy to be part of a club like Arsenal and I’ll do all I can for them.”

Very nice words indeed Johan.

So thats the 3rd contract signing in 2 weeks, keeping some already worldclass players at Arsenal for a long, long time.

Who will be next to join the contract bandwagon?

Leave something in the comments if you want.

Moving on from contracts, Thierry Henry has spoke of Man United 7-point lead over us, despite beating them back in september.

“We have won there and they have to come here yet.”

“They are having a good run but we have a game in hand. So the lead could be four, six or stay at seven.”

Meanwhile, Arsene has again been speaking about the possibility of bringing video replays in to the game -

“In France they have created a system where they can see on TV 100% if the ball crossed the line or not.”

“So let us make the first step video replays – at least when it is a situation where you can be 100% sure of what happened if you do use them.”

They keep talking about video replays, but FIFA, the FA or UEFA havent really said anything apart from “Its a good idea” they havent actaully put this idea to practice, not that I know of, was there a chip in the balls at the world cup? I cant remember, well anyway they should do something about it, because it can cost people everything, not just 3 points instead of 1, in the long run decisions could cost you Title’s, promotions or Premiership status etc.

VitalArsenal has some cracking articles going on at the moment, the one that caught my eye was the ‘Did you Boo Thierry Henry’ referring to the Everton game, and it was spot on, anyone that saw the game on saturday knows that Tel had a more quiet rather than bad game against Everton, I remember one incident when the ball just ran past him as if he couldnt be arsed to take it and the move broke up, obviosuly everyone shouted and had their own little rant but I dont remember any boo’ing, if you did boo then your abit of a wally to be fair. Like I said in the Match review, he cant be amazing every game, and if he scored with that shot from the outside of the box everyone would be creaming their pants. The way football fans are I guess.

Thats it for now, I WILL have a match preview tomorrow, most likely that I will do it during the Barca v Chel$ki match.

Thanks for reading, see ya!

Arsenal 1 Everton 1

October 29, 2006

Sorry about no preview yesterday, the bastard virus returned and recked havoc on my computer, but im told this free virus download thing will get rid of it forever. Very annyoing indeed. Oh and my prediction was -

Arsenal 3 Everton 1

Anyway on with todays review

A disappointing draw for the Gunners yesterday, against a much improved Everton team whom we usually beat at home. Overall I thought we played very well again, but we lacked that killer pass at times and also we needed a bit f luck for the ball to go in, and it doesnt help when Tim Howard decides to have his performance of the season.

Wenger started with the same side that started at Reading, but with a slightly different formation, but VP drifted out to the wing eventually. We started well enough, good passing, a few good chances, pretty much taking the game to Everton. Then we gave away a corner, now as all gooners will know we are terrible at defending set pieces and I pretty much always think we are going to concede from them, and we did again yesterday. I said before the game that Andy Johnson will score a penalty or Tim Cahill will score from a header, close enough I suppose, and it was that little shit Cahill. The ball whipped in, he knew nothing about his first touch, but it somehow landed at his feet and fair play to him, he reacted quickly and blasted the pall past Lehmann and into the roof of the net. So bloody annoying, we had 11 players in the box for that corner, and we still concede, I would say that defending set pieces is the only real alarming concern for this team, Arsene must notice it, it happens often enough, hopefully its something that can be resolved because if this team wants to win the league (Which I still think we will do) then we have to stop conceding these stupid goals.

Naturally after this it was a complete Arsenal onslaught. Just constant attack with the odd Everton counter-attack, When it was about 20-25 minutes to go, I was beginning to think it was going to in for us. Well about one minute after this thought we got a free kick, which looking back was a pretty poor decision by the ref. Meh. Van Persie took it, a brilliant free kick with Howard almost saving it, but helping it into the net. After this I thought we were going to get the winner, a fantastic atmosphere in the stadium as well yesterday, but it just wouldnt happen for us, even the introduction of young Theo Walcott and Jeremie Aliadiere couldnt get us a goal, despite them both impressing during their short time on the pitch. After this we had about 70 odd corners and as usual we did nothing with them. Set pieces is a big thing in football, but we dont seem to be to bothered with them. If you want a final word just think of the Villa and Boro games, very, very similar. A quick mention to the guy behind me yesterday, wasnt the usual guy, but he called us a pub team and called our players and I quote, “A bunch of useless wankers” what a prick, he should try supporting someone like Macclesfield or Spurs, imagine what he would think then. Hopefully hes not there on Wednesday to shout in my ear and spit on my neck with his uncontrollable gob.

Yet again I find it difficult to single out anybody so I consulted Good old Sky Sports again, they gave it to Tomas Rosicky. Which thinking about it is the right choice. Certainly not Thierry, who was very quiet yesterday, cant be amazing every week I suppose.

Right after that lengthy amount of guff here is the Everon ratings.

Block 11 Player Ratings -

Lehmann – 6, Hoyte  – 5, Toure – 7, Gallas – 7, Djourou – 6, Hleb – 6, Gilberto – 6, Fabregas – 7, Block 11 Star Man – Rosicky – 8, Van Persie – 7, Henry – 6.

Subs -

Flamini – 6

Walcott – 7

Aliadiere – 6

Im not sure if Justin Hoyte will be Ok for Wednesday, I havent seen anything to suggest that.

Thats yer lot for today, more reaction tomorrow as Ive got to go out, perhaps an update later.

Thanks for reading.

Normal Service Is Resumed

October 27, 2006

After a Computer Virus, a Funeral, a dodgy kebab and more than one complaint from a certain David Button Block 11 is back. Some events were obviously beyond my control like that fucking virus, which I think has just about gone.

Right, so heres a Round up….

  • Arsenal Beat West Brom 2-0 in Carling Cup
  • Kolo Toure Signs new 4-year Contract
  • Arsenal Draw Everton in 4th Round of Carling Cup
  • Adebayor Injured

These are the main talking points, so i’m not going to put 4 days news into one post, just the main ones.

Arsenal beat an on-form West Brom side 2-0 on Tuesday Night, another impressive win for the Young Guns, and perhaps Wenger can get this team to Arsene’s first Mickey Mouse League Cup Final. A tough test up at Everton though, who seem to be playing their First team as they beat Luton 4-0 on Tuesday night, good for our First team, as they will be slightly more fatigued than ours. I’ve only seen the goals, which were both scored by Jeremie Aliadiere, whom I was very pleased for. For those who are concerned, Jeremie will be getting the Block 11 Star man Award for Tuesdays game, before my Computer went Tits up, I had planned on putting a preview up which would include a prediction. My prediciton was going to be 2-0 to us, ‘Bollocks’ I hear you cry, well tough shit, cause im putting it up as that. Mwahaha….

A downside to Tuesdays impressive win was Emmanuel Adebayors Thigh injury, at the time Wenger said he will be Three weeks, which is not so good, but hopefully Aliadiere will get his chance, he’s been around for ages now, but he got very unlucky with injuries, so maybe he will be on the bench tomorrow along with Young Theo.

Now, after Cesc signed that mahusive deal last week, I mentioned that some players are jumping on the contract bandwagon, and Mr Kolo Toure did exactly that by signing a deal at Arsenal keeping him here for another 4 years. What A Guy!

Theres other bits and bobs about at the moment, but my computer is still recovering from its virus, Imagine somones Arsehole recovering from the most Monsterously stong vindaloo. Thats how my computer feels. Because of this, its ridiculously slow, so Im getting impatient etc. Hopefully it will be back to normal tomorrow.

A preview of everton tomorrow.

Enjoy your Friday Gooners.

Reading 0 Arsenal 4 – Awesome Arsenal

October 23, 2006

That, my friends is how to play football. A masterclass.

As I said in my Match Preview, if we get an early goal it will shoot down their confidence, and with the game just 58 seconds gone it was 1-0 to the Arsenal. Fantastic work by Cesc on the bi-line who cut it back to Henry and it was one of those where it could have gone anywhere or in the back of the net, and when its Thierry you expect it to hit the net, it did, another great finish from the skipper.

Alex Hleb scored the second today, who might I be the first to apologise to him for slagging him off after Tuesdays game, he certainly made up for his performance in Moscow, and got himself a rare goal, another superb passing move finished off with Hleb smashing the ball past Marcus Hanehhamansgsnasheman (spelling please).

The third goal was equally as brilliant as the two that had preceeded it, yet MORE fantastic passing, with Hleb put through on goal bt Henry, he could have bagged his second but unselfishly slipped it to van Persie who got his 4th goal of the season. A few wasted chances from Robin today, but his overall play was much improved from the Moscow game.

The fantastic football from Arsenal continued after this, with Rosicky having a couple of chances, and the fourth was pretty inevitable, when Cesc was put through one on one, he tried to go round the Goalkeeper, but he brought him down to which could only result in a penalty. Also a quick mention to the Ref who didnt send off the keeper, some other Refs may have done so, but fair play to the Ref, 3 goals down, a penalty about to be taken, very unfair to send off the keeper. Henry took it and put it to the keepers left, going in off the post and giving Henry a brace and his 6th goal of the season.

I had that much to write on the goals! Well overall, it was fantastic football from us today, it really was. The  awareness of the players is incredible they know whats going on around them all of the time which makes it very hard to fault anyone, we showed abit of Fatigue in the last 20 minutes, but we were 4 up, no need to waste energy, although it is nice to up the goal difference. I said before the start of the season that Arsenal can and will win the Premiership this season, and after performances like todays, it just makes me even more convinced. Oh and for the record I still did did think we would win the League before the Man United match.

Now I find it almost impossible to single out anyone for the elusive Block 11 Star Man award, so im going to go along with sky’s choice. So here we are..

Block 11’s Player Ratings -

Lehmann – 7, Hoyte – 8, Toure – 7, Djourou – 7, Gallas – 7, Hleb – 8, Block 11 Star Man – Fabregas – 9, Gilberto – 7, Rosicky – 8, Van Persie – 7, Henry – 8

Subs – Walcott – 6, Adebayor – 6, Song - 6.

I could write a massive bit about Cesc, but what more can I say about this kid, he is phenomenal, thats all you can say really. The future of Arsenal indeed.

I mentioned in last weeks Watford review that Tomas Rosicky was brilliant, and today he further proved that, I’ve never seen a player fit into a teams style of play as much as Rosicky does, just everything about him screams Arsenal.

Also, a quick mention goes to Justin Hoyte, who really impressed me today, looks so much more confident on the right, be interesting when Gilbert returns from his Loan, we will have Lauren, Eboue, Hoyte and Gilbert as our right backs. Ive said it before and ill say it again…”Come in number 12″

Right onto this mornings news -

Yesterdays Man of the Match Cesc Fabregas has been talking about the Reading game -

“When I am on the pitch I really enjoy myself, and this is so important for a player,”

“I’m not sure if I could play in a team which played long balls all the time.”

Long balls? surely he doesnt mean Chel$ki.

Arsene talked about our performance yesterday, saying that our pace made the difference. -

“We were on a very good run and we were disappointed on Tuesday night in Moscow. We wanted a quick response to not drop our level of confidence. We came quickly with an early goal – a fantastic goal – and after that our movement, our technique, our pace made a big difference.”

He also thinks as highly of Rosicky as I do -

“Rosicky is getting better in every game, I am very happy with his performances. We feel that physically he has adapted quicker than we expected him to.”

Couldn’t agree more.

Thats it for today, a preview of the Carling Cup tomorrow.

Countdown to Kick Off

October 22, 2006

Very difficult to write anything, as nothing is happening, there was a whole page concerning Arsenal in the News of the World today. It was nothing news, stuff like “On some occasions I have shouted at a player in the dressing room” that was Arsene, see what I mean. Nothing.

Also Arsene hopes to celebrate his 57th birthday with a win this afternoon.

In other Wenger news, he has a massive pop at the Top clubs for cheating. Namely Chelsea, mainly because they are a pack of massive c***’s. Thats just my opinoin though.

Now that Cesc has signed a huge deal, it already seems that players are jumping on the contract bandwagon…

Kolo Toure for example -

“I can see myself staying here for the rest of my career”

“Why would I want to leave? I love my football, my family is settled here and the club is ambitious. It is fantastic here.”

I suggest you sign him up quite lively then Wenger, cause we love Kolo, and Im guessing he loves us. Already an Arsenal Leg-end.

No team news as of yet.

Right that really is all I can conjure up at the minute, I’m gonna go and watch the rest of Manure v Liverpool as its raining and I cant paint the house.

Come on you GUNNNNNASSSS!

Reading v Arsenal Preview

October 21, 2006

So, we’re away to Reading tomorrow at the Madjeski Stadium, and It will certainly not be a walkover, a very confident and attacking reading team will face us tomorrow, and we need to show the type of character and class we showed at Old Trafford and The Valley, most will think Reading as not the most daunting places to go, but it will be a very tough game, as Chelsea found out last week, another Frank Lampard two-deflection stunner, so if we do find it tough there tomorrow, we’ll just have to find a fat bloke from the crowd whon hit the ball faily hard like frank can, doesnt matter which direction, it will find the back of the net eventually. I really have no clue how the team will line up tomorrow, because as Gunnerblog says its very hard to second guess Arsene this season. I’d imagine the defence will line up the same, but as for wingers and Henry’s partner Im really not sure.

I think Reading will come out tomorrow showing no fear and will certainly not be afraid to go forward, which does suit us. My mate who is a West ‘Am fan watched Reading at Upton Park a few weeks ago and said “Reading are shit, but its difficult when they have a player like Seol” obviously he was disappointed at losing so I doubt they are shit, but I also doubt they are a brilliant football playing side, haven’t really watched Reading this season so I havent got much to go on, but like I said I know they aren’t afraid to go for it, especially when Arsenal comes to town, it will be a full house, confidence will be sky high so we have to be cautious but classy. Also when you have Gallas on a player like Seol, you would imagine that Bill would come out on top, we will see.

We’ve got a great run going in the premiership at the moment, and although I called the performace on tuesday a ‘Disgrace’ which was a tad over reactive looking back as I wrote the report straight after the game and obviously I had the arsehole, I think we will win the game, only by a goal or two, Im not sure if Reading will score i’m going to say that they wont because I think if we take this game by the bollocks and get an early goal that will shoot down their confidence. Im waffling now, so heres my prediciton.

Block 11’s Prediction – Reading 0 Arsenal 2

Right, away from tomorrows clash at The Madjeski, Thierry Henry has spoken of his delight when he heard that Cesc had signed THAT 8-year deal.

”I don’t want to put pressure on Cesc, but he is now ready to become one of the best midfielders in English football.”

Yeah, no pressure at all Cesc.

Now I said the other day that I couldnt remember the last time that Lauren played for Arsenal, well i can tell you it was the Carling cup Semi final 2nd leg against Wigan, which was on the 21st of January, Now in september Arsene said to Arsenal.com that he was 3 or 4 weeks away, 3 or 4 weeks later it turns out Ralf is 2 months away, and by the time he returns he will have been away for pretty much a year, which is bloody long. Hopefully it will be sooner than that, but Im happy with Hoyte at the moment and obviously delighted at how well Eboue has become, and dont forget about Kerrea Gilbert who is doing very well at Cardiff.

Arsene had this to say about Laurens injury -

“I don’t think you will see Lauren in the team before January,”

“He played up to the limit of his pain and then maybe he played a little too long. That created some damage in his knee which had to be repaired.”

Thats it from me today, some team news in the morning if there is any, see how it goes.

Have a good saturday.

Fabregas A Gooner Til 2014!

October 20, 2006

Well it was reported early yesterday that Cesc had signed the 8-year deal and it was confirmed about midday as I recall. Great news indeed, Arsenal will have the most talented midfielder in the world for the next 8 years at least. That wont stop Real Madrid though, Cesc could murder all of Real’s players, burn down the Bernabau and rape the presidents daughter, and they would still want to sign him. Thats what kind of muppets they are.

So by the time this contract expires Cesc will be 27, just about to peak, I cant wait personally.

Cesc had this to say about his HUGE deal -

“I am so happy here and I am delighted to have signed this new contract that will keep me at the Club for years to come”

Arsene, who I expect is as delighted as everyone else wioth this deal has said the Spaniard will only improve with time -

“When you’re always in the class of the best, especially with the talent and dedication Fabregas has, I still feel there is a lot more to come from him in the next three years.”

I think he means 8 years.

Thierry Henry was at an Arsenal Forum yesterday and when asked for is ‘Ideal’ striker partner he answered Nicolas “Knobjockey” Anelka, Ok then tel. Not sure that one would go down so well.

Now, sometimes you get these funny chaps down at Arsenal, who usually sit in the away end, and they like to sing ‘En-ger-land’ to us, obviously aware to the fact that we only have two english players, well they wont be able to sing it for much longer as Le Boss has talked about the young english players coming through at Arsenal -

“Through the years it is true we have developed less English players than young foreign talent.”

“It is down to one basic reason — England produces less young talent because they responded later with the quality of their academies.”

Well thats also good news, cause when we won the double in 98 think of all the english players we had, eight years later we have two english players who aren’t in the team everyweek – yet.

Perhaps a preview of the Reading game tomorrow.

Enjoy your Friday people!

Oh and dont forget the Arseblog Arsecast makes its debut today!

The Future Of Arsenal

Toure Calls For Bouncebackability

October 19, 2006

Not much news going on today as you would expect, but Kolo Toure has been speaking about Sundays clash with Reading. Saying that it will be a very hard game and it will prove our title credentials, I couldn’t agree more.

“To win the Premiership title you need to win games like this and we will go to Reading and try to beat them”

Well I hope thats what we do, because this game is a potential banana skin, however it would be the perfect way to bounce back after Tuesdays defeat.

Skipper Thierry Henry has called for Rugby style refereeing in football, saying that you can’t talk to the ref after he has made a decision.

“When you come at them, try to speak to them then they do not give an answer and will not even speak to you. That is difficult to take.

“You do not want to have a go at them, but just to ask them what they saw at crucial times and yet you are not allowed to do that in football.”

He is right, when you see it on TV the refs dont want to know, their word is the only word and the final word, it seems they dont take anything into consideration. It doesnt help when you get nutcases like Rooney going nuts and swearing at the ref, remember when the Man United players surrounded Andy D’urso, that was like a load of pissed up yobbo’s kicking off with some poor nerdy chap.

Lets fucking 'ave him! !

Also Rugby players call referees ‘Sir’ and stuff like, thats abit posh for football, but its about respect most of all, I’d like to see it tested. As i would with Video Replays.

Finally, Vital-Arsenal reports that Cesc has signed that huge contract that was being talked about recently. It has qoutes from the agent, which doesn’t make 100% nailed on, but im pretty certain that this is true, i’m expecting some sort of  announcement on Arsenal.com or Sky sports news etc.

Thats all for today, The scum are on channel 5 tonight, in some UEFA game that they shouldnt be anywhere near, John Barnes and Spurs playing football will be very entertaining.

spuds on channel 5

CSKA Moscow 1 Arsenal 0/Hleb

October 18, 2006

Now, why is it that when I get a tiny bit confident of winning a game or I look forward to an Arsenal match on the TV, we always, fucking always play awful, and usually lose. This has happened loads of times, so frustrating, obviously its not my fault, but just incase i’ll try to be less confident in the future.

I’m not going to write to much on the game, cause its annoying to write it all down, and people reading will get the hump at me stating the obvious.

So -

  • We should sell Hleb
  • Although it WAS a goal, we didnt deserve it.
  • Why did Arsene take off Rosicky?
  • Kolo Toure should stop giving so much effort when its clear that other players arent fussed at times.

Right, thats pretty harsh yes, but Hleb was shocking tonight. He had so many opportunities to put in a good ball, but he just could’nt do it. Also, Justin Hoyte had a hard time down the right, mainly because Hleb wasnt backing him up, 90% of their attacks came down the right and almost everytime hleb was either ball watching or just making things worse for Justin and Arsenal. Selling him is over-reacting but im sure there are better right wingers out there. Aaron Lennon wouldnt be to bad.

Now the decision on the goal was piss-poor, but we really didnt deserve it, and I would have loved for it to have stood, but as it doesnt Im not going to go on about it and use it as an excuse and I hope Thierry realises that who has already branded the decision it was a disgrace, very true Tel, but if im honest it was the performance that was a disgrace.

I couldnt believe it when Rosicky came off for Walcott, I actaully joked that he would leave Hleb on when he made the Walcott change, and I was right for a change.

Hats off to Kolo though who was MOTM for me, the only real positive for me from this game was his performance. Im not going to slag off the whole side, thats just unfair, its only one game and im very confident (im sorry, I have to say it) that we will beat them at home, cause they arent much of a team, they just caught us on a very bad day.

Block 11’s Player Ratings -

Lehmann – 5, Hoyte – 6, Block 11 Star Man – Toure – 8, Djourou – 6, Gallas – 6, Hleb – A generous 3, Cesc – 6, Gilberto – 5, Rosicky – 7, Van Persie – 4, Henry 6.

Lets turn it round and beat Reading on sunday.

Anyway, onto this mornings news, which Suprisingly and pretty obviously surrounds last nights defeat in Moss-cow -

Thierry said ‘Piss’ during an interview with Sky sports last night, quite funny. Something you wouldnt expect from Thierry, but its understandable. Also Thierry said something about us not being a big club, havent read it yet, but you can here.

Gilberto and Arsene also thought the decision was a piss take. As will every other Arsenal player that egts asked about it.

Thats it for today, see ya tomorrow.

CSKA Moscow v Arsenal Preview

October 17, 2006

Arsene Wengers men travel to the Captial of Russia tonight – Moscow. The only thing I know about Moscow is that it has them funny looking castle things and its ridiculously cold. Fair play to the gooners that have travelled. Nutters.

Wenger has talked about Denilson, and Le Boss reckons he is ready to play IF he is needed, so like I said, an injury to Cesc or Gilberto is the only way he could come on, but remember I was wrong about Theo on saturday, so who knows?

“I feel he can play in the side already and we will see him certainly at West Bromwich Albion next week.”

Well thats very encouraging, the WBA game isnt on TV isit? I thought about going up there, but I’d have nobody to talk to on the way up there or on the way home, plus Arsenal dont seem to be doing coach travel for this one.

Jens Lehmann said yesterday that Goalkeepers need more protection when playing, and Arsene has backed him up on this one by saing -

“I can understand why Jens is upset and worried, this year there have been Shay Given, Mark Schwarzer, who damaged his cheekbone, Cech and Cudicini. It cannot be coincidence that suddenly in three months you have four injuries”

He’s right, but I think its just part and parcel of the game. It is a contact sport and everynow and then someone gets hurt. At least it wasnt Jens himself then I think I might have a different view.

Now onto the game, like I said about the city of Moscow, I dont know much about it and the same can be said for CSKA, all I know is that they are Roman Abramovich’s(spelling?) other team, and that CSKA have a brazilian striker up front called Vagner Love, who is being called up for the national team quite often. So he’s one to watch out for.

I think our line up will be the same as saturdays, Hleb was doubtful for this evenings game, but he is in the squad so maybe he’ll come in for Theo but I hope not, and think not. I also expect him to start with Adebayor, who played a part in all of our goals against Watford, however he did play 90 minutes, then again he so much stamina its frightening.

Block 11’s Prediciton - CSKA Moscow 1 Arsenal 2

If we werent on such a good run, I would’ve put down 1-1 but Im very confident at the moment. Lets make it 7 out of 7 lads.

Now I sort of watched the Arsenal Reserves v Chel$ki Reserves last night, The onyl real highlight was the Cameramen talking about the game, and the presenter being an absolute knob while being ‘off air’ The coverage was from Chel$ki TV so it was all their bellend ex-players taking about them not us. We lost 2-1 and Chel$ki deserved it, we didnt have Merida playing so that sort of turned me into ‘A cant be bothered to watch this’ mode, Senderos played and of what I saw/remember he looked abit shaky. Not that encouraging stuff from Swiss Tony.

Now, pretty much since the World Cup finished have been linked with Franck Ribery and we still are being linked with him now, everyday it seems, we had quotes from Marseille’s President the other day and Ribery’s agent saying that Arsenal have made an offer, Ribery wants to come to Arsenal, and now we get an Arsenal side of things.

“We have never made an offer to Marseille for Ribery”

So it was all complete bollocks then, what a shocker. At least we have heard it from the people who actaully matter.

Well time for me to offski, Enjoy the game tonight and dont forget its at 5.30 not 7.45, that would be embarassing wouldnt it.

Match review tomorrow.

Come on the boys.
